2025 5th International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBDF 2025) Successfully Held in Guiyang from December 26 to 28, 2025

The 2025 5th International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBDF 2025) was successfully convened in Guiyang, China, from December 26 to 28, 2025. The symposium was organized by the Guizhou Computer Federation, Guizhou Association for Artificial Intelligence, Guizhou Logic Society, Guizhou Association of Automation, and the Specialized Committee on Uncertain Artificial Intelligence of the Jiangsu Association for Artificial Intelligence. The event was hosted by the School of Computer Science and Technology at Guizhou University, the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at Jiangnan University, the State Key Laboratory of Public Big Data (Guizhou University), the Guizhou Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Medical Imaging and Intelligent Computing, and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of Guizhou University. Co-organizers included the Engineering Research Center of Text Computing and Cognitive Intelligence (Ministry of Education), the Key Laboratory of Human-Machine Integration Software and Media Technology (Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Institutions), and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Data Science and Intelligent Decision-Making in Guizhou. The symposium also received support from the School of Big Data and Computer Science at Guizhou Normal University, the School of Information at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, the School of Data Science and Information Engineering at Guizhou Minzu University, the School of Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Engineering at Guizhou Institute of Technology, and the School of Computer Science at Guiyang University. Sponsorship was provided by Guizhou Suanjia Computing Service Co., Ltd.

The symposium brought together numerous experts and scholars to exchange ideas through various formats, including keynote speeches, invited talks, parallel forums, oral presentations, poster sessions, and awards ceremonies. Awards were presented to three recipients for Best Paper, three for Best Student Paper, three for Excellent Poster, and three for Outstanding Oral Presentation. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest trends, research achievements, technological innovations, and application cases in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data. The symposium fostered a vibrant and interactive academic atmosphere, receiving widespread acclaim from all attendees.

They shared pioneering research outcomes and innovative insights, offering profound inspiration to the attendees and presenting a high‑level, forward‑looking, and intellectually rich academic feast.

The afternoon session featured three parallel venues, including online oral presentations, on-site oral presentations, and a parallel forum. The on-site oral presentation sessions were chaired by Professor Wang Qi and Professor Hu Bin, both from Guizhou University. During the oral presentation sessions, experts and scholars from institutions such as Guizhou University, Tianjin University, Shenzhen University, Guizhou Institute of Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, and Northeast Forestry University presented their latest research findings. Their work provided new momentum for the advancement of the fields of artificial intelligence and big data.

Oral Presentations

The parallel forum focused on two key themes: "LLM for Sciences" and "The Future of AI & BD", chaired by Professor Long Fei from Guizhou Institute of Technology and Professor Wu Jia from Monash University, Australia. Multiple scholars engaged in lively discussions around these two themes, fostering continuous intellectual exchange and collision of ideas.
